Reviewer 1: Methods: Method section is satisfactory
Results: Results need minor corrections comments given below

Interpretation: some minor revision needed to improve some sections comments are given below
Other comments:
This paper presents an original study and the research gap for "the effect of Cultural Values on Pro-
environmental Behaviours based on a time lagged research methodology". Moreover, the authors
explored the moderating role of Citizen Trust. The scientific quality of the study found to be good and
qualified for publication in a decent outlet. It is a theoretical study applying SEM with good reporting of
results. The topic of the article is interesting and matches with the field and scope of this journal.
However, beside its strengths the presentation of ideas need some improvements for better clarity and
impact on readers. My detailed comments are as follows:
1- In the introduction, describe the cultural values in detail, specifying the reason for conducting the
current study.
2- The authors need to provide more literature with solid argumentation to support moderation
hypotheses such as H5 to H8.
3- The authors also need to provide relevant multicollinearity indicators, such as variance inflation
factor (VIF) is missing in the results. Adding it will help to improve the analysis and results section.
4- Also, add sufficient details about the proposed relationships and findings in the results section.
5- The theoretical implications and discussion part need to be improved with logical field oriented
argumentation and debate.
6- Finally, some minor grammatical problems need to be supplemented and improved.
Reviewer 2: Methods:
The methods are described in detail so readers understand the approach applied in the study. The
location of the research is presented accomplished with its characteristics. However, there is no
rationale behind implementing the study in the chosen location.
Results:
Results are presented comprehensively, applying an appropriate statistical approach and clear data
presentation.
Interpretation:
Data interpretation needs to be elaborated more related to the characteristics of the participants.
