Operator Training - Blown film extrusion

Description This course qualifies the participants for the daily work with W&H blown film extrusion
lines. They gain an overview of the configuration and working principle of the machine
and learn to understand the functionality and technical processes of the individual
stations. The participants become familiarized with the machine operation including
machine start-up, job change and the working environment and learn how to control
and optimize the extrusion process independently. Furthermore they are capable to
detect and clear faults as well as to carry out the daily care and routine maintenance
in order to operate the extrusion line in a reliable manner.

Content · Machine concept and key modules

· Safety arrangements
· Machine start-up
· Machine operation
· Winder settings (roll change, web tensions, etc.)
· Product optimization (gauge profile control, bubble cooling, etc.)
· Fault diagnostics and troubleshooting (operator level)

Target Group · Machine operators

· Shift supervisors, who are involved in the production process

Requirements · Practical experience with blown film extrusion

· Work clothes and industrial safety shoes

Methods · Theoretical basic training in the W&H Academy Training Center

· Hands-on training in the W&H Technical Center

Group size 6 – 8 participants

The course takes place when at least 6 participants have officially signed up.

Time 31.08.2020 – 04.09.2020 (8:30 a.m. to 04:30 p.m.)

Location W&H Academy Training Center in Lengerich Westf.

Price 3.890,00 € per participant

The fee includes training documents, hotel incl. breakfast, subsistence during breaks
and lunch. Travel and subsistence expenses are not included.

Terms and Conditions The participant has the right to cancel his participation free of charge within two weeks
of the start of the course or seminar. Thereafter or in case of non-participation, the full
participation fee is due.

For organizational or economic reasons, we reserve the right to cancel courses or

seminars. This applies in particular if the minimum number of participants is not
reached. Any participation fee already paid will be refunded. Travel and
accommodation costs will not be refunded.

In all other respects, the General Terms and Conditions of Delivery and Service of
Windmöller & Hölscher KG apply to commercial customers in Germany and abroad.
