Elsawin 2017 installation guide:

• Once you have downloaded all 3 .zip files, extract the .zip files using a
program such as Winrar or 7zip (right click , extract files, choose
destination folder, create one on e.g. desktop called e.g. elsawin.
• Place all the contents of the files into the same folder. (total of 30 .7z)
• Using WinRar or 7Zip Rght click file
'English 5.1 old and new-disk1.7z'
and select extract here, each one will automatically extract (Do NOT open
the individual zipped files to extract them, view them, or install them).
• The extraction process may take an hour or longer, depending on the
speed of your PC.
• Install the Virtual box as administrator, * right click 'VirtualBox-5.1.6-
110634-Win' .exe and run as administrator, install.
• Once the file extraction is complete you will have a file called:
'English 5.1 old and new-disk1.vdi'
It is 65+ Gb.
• Double click the VirtualBox machine (e.g. desktop icon) you installed , this
has a blue cube icon, it will open automatically.
• Click on New. Enter a name e.g. Elsawin,
choose Win7, 32 bit
Click Next.
• You will now have a Window asking you to specify the amount of RAM (it
is recommended to give it 50%, i.e. if you have 4Gb give it 2Gb up to a
max of 3 Gb)
Click next.
• You have a Hard Drive Window Now.
Choose "Use an existing Virtual Hard Disk file".
Now browse and click on the Folder on your right and choose the image
file you rebuilt at the Extraction stage (English 5.1 old and new-disk1.vdi)
Click On Create.
• Now an entry "Elsawin" will appear on your Left.
Now Click on the System Tab (right hand side) and then click on
Processor. If you have 4 cores select 2 and enable PAE/NX and press OK.
Now click Start, (green arrow on the top) or Double Click On the "Elsawin"
entry on the left to start the virtual machine
• Agree to any java access if prompted.
• When opening the Elsawin manual in the virtual machine enter
User: gb / Password: gb
• You maybe required and prompted to restart your computer.
