VERB PHARASES
Verb phrases are verbs made up of two or three words.
The first word is an ordinary verb and the others are
prepositions or adverbs (known as particles). So the basic
pattern of a verb phrase is:

◦ Verb + preposition (adverb) [+ preposition (adverb)]

◦ Verb + particle (+ particle)

How are they similar to verbs?

◦ Only the verb is conjugated within the verb phrase. The

other word or words remain the same. Come - he came
- he has come

◦ Be infinitive. Just add TO before the verb phrase to

convert it to its infinitive form. Come

◦ Be gerunds. We add ING to the verb to use this verb

phrase in a gerund. Coming

PRONOUNS
They are one of the keys to demonstrate mastery of the
language as they allow you to speak or write fluently.
Their main function is to replace the subject of a
sentence, so they serve to designate people, animals or
things. Thanks to this and the different specific functions
they fulfill, there is a great variety of them.
Personal pronouns (depending on the
suject)
Personal pronouns (depending on the subject). They are
the pronouns in charge of replacing the subject of the
sentence, that is, who executes the action. They are as
follows:
