The Second Battle of Bud Dajo was a counterinsurgency action

meaning it is a military operation. It is fought by American soldiers

against native Moros in December 1911, during the Moro Rebellion
phase of the Philippine–American War. On November 11, 1909,
Major General John J. Pershing assumed his duties as governor of
the Moro province.

and an estimated 1,500 Moros fortified the top of the dormant
volcano.
led by a chieftain named Jailani.
And this is
through to the successful negotiation of pershing in persuading the
majority of the assembled Moros to return home. Kaya naman ang
mga namatay lang ay yung mga natira. Nahikayat ni Pershing na
bumaba na ang iba sa kadahilanang Moros didn't have time to
supply their stronghold.
