Said by shri Ram himself in Dakshin khand chapter 60

यथा प्रमोदविविनं वनत्यं वप्रयतमं मम।

तथैि सिवशोभाट्यवित्रकुटः वप्रयो मम।।

As the Pramodvan is always my favorite.

Similarly Chitrakuta is dear to me with all its beauty

इहस्थः सततं कुिे रमणं वप्रयया सह।

सिवत्तुसुभगो ह्येष वनत्यं कुसुवमतैर्द्व ु मैः।

While here I always enjoy myself with my beloved

It is always auspicious with trees in bloom.

यथा प्रमुद्वनं त्यक्त्त्वा नै वम क्षणमवि क्ववित।

तथैि वित्रकुटावर्द्ं न जहावम कदािन।

It is like leaving the Pramodvan and never going anywhere for a moment

Similarly I never leave Chitrakuta mountain.

कामतायां मनोज्ञायां िक्ां वकततनौ सदा।

विहरावम वप्रयाक्ीडः प्रमोदविविने यथा।

Their bodies (siya ram yugal sarkar) एकwere always wrapped in lust and charm.

I enjoy my beloved pastimes as if in a forest of delight

एषोऽस्माकं भक्तियववित्रकुटो मनोहरः।

यत्र वतष्ठावम सौवमत्रे सिवत्तुववप्रयकेविकृत्।

This is our delightful Chitrakuta, the best of our devotees.

Wherever I stay, Lakshmana, I play with my favorite Sita at all times.

न मे िैकुंठभिनं श्वेतद्वीिमवि वप्रयम्।

रमाभिनमेिावि यथा मे कामता वप्रया।

I do not like the abode of Vaikuntha nor the shwetdwipa

Even the palace of Rma is as dear to me as my lust meaning I don’tlike palace of rma

वशिातिेष्वविष्ठाय वित्रकुटवगरे ः सदा।

विहरावम दित्केविं दे िानां जनयन् मुदम्।

I always sat on the rocky bottoms of Chitrakuta mountain

I enjoy playing with the gods causing them joy

सुदुिवभोऽवि सिवत्र िोकेषु भजतामहम्।

वित्रकुटाििे रम्ये सुिभोऽस्मस्म न संशयः।

Though very rare, I am everywhere in the worlds for those who worship Me.

I am undoubtedly easily accessible on the beautiful mountain Chitrakuta

यो मत्पादां वकतवममं वगररराजं सुगह्वरम्।

स्मररष्यवत क्षणं मत्यव स्तस्याहं सुिभो भिे।

He who has marked this king of mountains with my feet

A mortal will remember the moment I am easily accessible to him

स्थिे स्थिे महत्पुण्यं तीथवकोवट शताविकम्।

वित्रकुटे मम भ्रातः स्थानभुते मनोहरे ।

There are more than a hundred crore holy places of great merit in every place

My brother is in a beautiful place called chitrakut a.

वकं तस्य बहुवभयवज्ञैः प्रादवक्षण्ये न िा भुिः।

यवित्रकुटं सततं सेिते सुखिर्द्व नम्।

What is the use of his many sacrifices or circumambulation of the earth

He who constantly serves Chitrakuta enhances happiness

स्पृष्टिा तु वित्रकुटस्य श्रृगं नभवस विस्तृतम्।

अनन्त कोवट तीथेषु स्नातो भिवत तत् क्षणात्।

Touching the peak of Chitrakuta tree spread out in the sky

He is bathed in infinite crores of holy places at that instant.

यत् वकम् वकंवित् कूरूते िात्र सुकृतं कमव मानि।

वगररराज प्रभािेण तत् अनन्त गुणं भिेत्।

Whatever he does here is a good deed, O man.

By the influence of the king of the mountains it will become an infinite virtue

दत्ताः स्युः कोवटशो गािः स्नाताः स्यु स्तीथवकोटयः।

कृताः स्यु कोवटशो यज्ञा योऽत्र यात्रामनु व्रजेत्।

Crores of cows will be given and crores of holy places will be bathed

Whoever follows this pilgrimage may have performed crores of sacrifices

अत्र िावत सदा िायुः सीतां गस्पशव सौरभी।

यं स्पृष्ट्वा िभते मत्तवयो जीिन्मुस्मक्तमनु त्तमाम्।

The wind blows here always fragrant with the touch of Sita’s body

By touching Him mortals attain the supreme liberation while living.

अत्र िेणुवननादे न मोहवयत्वा सुरां गणाः।

तावभः सार्द्ं कररष्यावम रास िीिा महोत्सिम्।

Here the courts of the gods are enchanted by the sound of their flutes

Shri Ram shall celebrate Rasa Lila with them.

महान् प्रमुद्वने रासवित्रकुटे ऽत्र मध्यमः।

िंकायामिमिेवत विरासदवितोऽस्म्यहम्।

There is a great Rasa in Pramudvana and a medium Rasa in Chitrakuta

Rasa lila for a long time as the lowest in Lanka.

ये मे स्वरुिभुता िै िज्रभक्ता महोदयाः।

तैः साकमुत्तमा िीिा प्रमोदविविने मम।

Those great devotees of Vajra who are in my own form

I shri Ram,enjoyed my best pastimes with them in the forest of delight

यो दे त्यो ज्ञानविज्ञान संिन्नो मन्मवहस्पृशः।

तत् सार्द्ं मध्यमा िीिा वनश्रप्रेमांवकता यत्।

He who is a deity endowed with knowledge and wisdom knows My glory.

That along with the middle pastime is marked by sheer love.

न सिवथा अहं त्यक्ष्यावम वित्रकुटं महाििम्।

त्वया जनकिुत्र्या ि सवहतोऽत्र विरं रमे।

By no means will I leave the great mountain Chitrakuta.

I enjoyed myself here with you laxman and Janaka’s daughter for a long time

अत्र मे िज्रभक्तानां शुर्द् प्रेमरस स्पृशाम्।

संगमः सुस्मखतादीनां भविष्यवत न संशयः।

Here I have touched the pure taste of love for the devotees of Vajra
There is no doubt that there will be a confluence of happiness and others
