Frogs released in Quezon City vs
dengue may cause death
According to my research Cane Toads are actually very poisonous when indigested and are invasive
species. It also said that this toad does not help control insects so technically this plan was disaster. As
we all know they lack research even if they did continue they should have warned the locals about these
toads. There are many alternative ways to eradicate or lessen mosquitoes like cleaning program every
once a week, clean their sewers perhaps, create guidelines to facilitate local using herbs and alternative
things they can create or use in their household. Their leaders are dumb and did not consider second
opinion nor their people. Even the social media know what their doing.

“The cane toad is a large, warty, poisonous amphibian native to South and Central America and
considered to be one of the worst invasive species in the world. They were introduced in many countries
with the hope that they would help control agricultural pests. The toads failed at controlling insects, but
they turned out to be remarkably successful at reproducing and spreading themselves.”(Natgeo 2015)
