Read the two texts below and answer the questions below.

Coronavirus is a family of viruses, which can cause the common cold or more
severe diseases such as severe acute respiratory syndrome, Middle East respiratory
syndrome, and the new coronavirus disease that first appeared in late 2019 in Wuhan,
China, called COVID-19. A COVID-19 pandemic has sickened more than 31.9 million
people globally and claimed the lives of more than 977,000 people around the world.
The United States has the largest number of cases in the world — over 6.9 million —
and more than 202,000 people have died.
COVID-19 is a contagious disease that causes mild to severe respiratory
symptoms with fever, cough, and shortness of breath. It can be transmitted through
person-to-person contact, mainly through respiratory droplets that become airborne
when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or speaks. However, much remains
unknown about how it spreads.

Coronavirus is the most dangerous in the world. They say that the virus is from a
bat in China. They describe the market as dirty and with different live animals. The
spread of the virus is so fast. As there are COVID-19 cases all over the world. Many
countries have recorded cases of COVID-19. This is one of the most alarming situations
happening in this world.
On the social media, there are lots of news/news articles that bananas can
prevent COVID-19. As a protection, we have to eat lots of bananas. Other says, that
eating mangoes can cure COVID-19.

What is FACT?

 fact refers to the something true or real,

 facts are backed by evidence, documentation etc.
 facts are strictly defined and can be measured, observed, and proven

Examples:

 Manila is the Capital of Philippines.

 Jose Rizal is the National Hero of the Philippines.
 Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) is the name
given to the 2019 novel coronavirus. COVID-19 is the name given to the disease
associated with the virus.

What is OPINION?

 opinion is what a person believes or thinks about something

 opinion states a person's or group's thoughts, feelings, or beliefs about
something
  opinion cannot be proven true because it relies on the feelings, thoughts, or
beliefs of a specific person or group

Examples:

 President Rodrigo Duterte is the best president of the Philippines.

 Reading books makes me happy.
 This cake is the best cake in the world.
