Why is DTB course important?
Course Description
▪ Digital is DNA of Business - The digital revolution has influenced every industry, and
nowadays, there is a digital element in every aspect of the business.
▪ Every business that has begun before the Internet now faces the same challenge on
how to transform to compete in this digital economy.
▪ The rules of business have changed. The traditional companies need to rethink their
underlying assumptions about people (customers, employee) processes, technology,
and innovation.

7
▪ Therefore, almost every company aspires to digitally transform their
business, but most lack the digital transformation management expertise.

▪ Based on the ‘extent of change,’ digital transformation is of three types:

▪ offering new product and services line,
▪ market penetration or new market development,
▪ internal process improvement.
▪ This course is about third type of digital transformation, wherein
students need to improve internal process of business.
