y y y y Make coloured cards with key facts on them in the form of mind maps/spider diagrams or pictures Use lined index cards with written facts listed on them Use coloured pens to highlight key facts Fill large flip chart sized paper with key facts illustrated with mind maps/diagrams/pictures/colour

y y y y y Record all key facts onto a Dictaphone and play back repeatedly Make up songs to popular tunes with key facts as the lyrics Use rhymes or mnemonics Chant facts out loud Teach another person the facts you want to remember

y y y y Decide if your secondary learning style is audio or visual Try to move around when reading key facts cards or listening to recorded information Take frequent, short breaks Make physical contact with your revision notes move them around a lot, pin them up in different places, use shiny or textured paper. Try covering cards with clear film. Try repeating facts or visualising information with your eyes closed
