EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project titled “A study on How does an Organizatin Work” describes about the
Investor‟s satisfaction level towards their investment in stock market. Now a days
stock market is considered as a one the important source for investment along with
other sources of investment.

The methodological approach to this study is descriptive, because we attempt to


identify and explain variable that exist in a given situation and to describe the
relationship that exists between the different variable which affect customer
attitude towards investment in stock market. The primary data was collected
though questionnaire filling by the clients of the broking firms. The secondary data
was collected from journals and websites.

India has a large population which is at lower-income level and middle-income


level. There is a need of creating awareness among them for share trading and the
tremendous potential it has. Now with the advantage of technology there are many
options available to the traders which they can use without any fear. The trend is
moving towards the investment in stock market for long term. The traders are more
of young age and middle age and don‟t fear from risk taking but the lack of
knowledge doesn‟t lund allow them to do so. So, the stock broking companies
should take measures to empower the normal investors so that they can trade with
the latest technological available.

Target the youth as they are most potential customers of the stock market as their
interest towards stock trading is increasing. The stock broking companies should
educate the investors by giving them timely help in the form of reports and tips.
The companies should try to work in more transparent way. People prefer ease of
transaction and security, so brokerage companies should focus on security and
making transactions as simple as possible with sample usage of technology.

1) Functioning of Dealing Department :-

Dealing department has a dedicated team of sector specific fundamental research

analysts, technical analysts and commodities advisors.

• There are around 15 Investment Advisors (IA’s) with 1 Assistant Manager.


• Every Investment Advisor has a large number of clients. If any client wants to
trade online then he has PC and Mobile software. But if a client wants to trade
offline then he can trade at any point of time through these Investment Advisors.
• Investment Advisors give the following calls
✓ Long term fundamental calls

✓ Short term calls

✓ Intraday calls

✓ BTST calls

➢ There is a single terminal for all the three markets i.e., equity, commodity and currency.
It is good because every person can have complete knowledge of every market and also
the clients can have a good relation with their IA or RM because their account is
completely held by a single person.

➢ Dealing department helps the clients in avoiding some of the risks like credit risk, interest
rate risk, liquidity risk and re-investment risk on debt investments and other fixed-income
securities.

• They use derivative instruments like index futures, stock futures, and options contracts,
warrants, convertible securities, swap agreements or any other derivative instruments for

the purpose of hedging and portfolio balancing, as permitted under the regulations and

• There is only one employee in Back-Office. The task of Back Office department is to
have a proper communication system between the Regional Office with it’s sub offices
and also between the Regional Office and the Head Office.

• There are two employees in Operations department. They take care of the following
heads:

• Finance department takes into consideration all the requirements while any pay in/ pay
out are made. It keeps into account the requirements of the banks that are tied up with
the Ludhiana Branch.

• KYC department takes into consideration all the documentation part of the clients and all
the other details of the client. These details are kept confidential and are never disclosed
to any employee of the firm. The details are only communicated to the Head Office.

6) Conversion Process:-

The main aim of it is to make profit with customer satisfaction. The conversion ofinputs
works as the Tradebulls earn brokerage from the customers. The profits aregenerated from
getting a higher return on the invested amount of money than the amountpayable to the

customers. The process is facilitated by a centralized computer system inwhich the data is stored
and recovered for the whole INDIA and it is having the CPU at theH/O in Mumbai, Tradebulls is
regulating the brokerage rates all over India by keep watchon each transaction done from the
branch office. The data of a customer will be stored inthe central computer and all facilities such
as bills, credit/debit reports etc. are provided bythat computer to all customers on-line on the
internet.

The conversion process is also facilitated by some adjustments to the inputs andthen the random
fluctuations are also handled in the process and lastly the monitoring ofthe process is done and a
feedback is given to do the adjustments for the process asindicated in the figure given.

The HRD/OD will route the applications to the concerned Division / Group. The concerned
Division / Group will process the application, short list the candidates and conduct preliminary
interviews.

3. Final Interview:

• Final interview will be done by the Division / BU Head and a Senior Personnel from
HRD/OD, HO. In respect of position of General Managers and above Chairman &
Managing Director will also interview the candidate. Where the recruitment is initiated
at the local branch level, the preliminary interviews will also be conducted by the Branch
Personnel. Final interview will involve senior personnel from Corporate Office, either
from the Division or the Group.

• Interviewers will keep in mind the position requirement, categorizing it into technical,
management and behavioural. Such interviews will explore the expectation of the

4. Salary Offers:

• With a view to ensure that salary offers are in conformity with the levels paid in the
