How do you plan to implement this lesson and integrate the technology? Check all that apply:

teacher direction and expectations. Learning activities are assigned to the
student and mostly practice based.

Lesson idea implementation:


The teacher will begin the lesson with an overview. The overview should include addressing the
learning target and success criteria. To demonstrate the success criteria, the teacher will review
examples and non-examples. (At this time, may choose to review key terms or misconceptions.)
Students will use a device to use the link and code to assess the lesson. As students are logging in, the
teacher can circulate the room to assist. Students will stay engaged by completing assessments aligned
to their learning goals. The tasks require students to decode, identify, and sort words with consonant -
le, -al, -el. To conclude the lesson, students will recap and review quick checks.
Managing student learning:
The web 2.0 tools allow students to partake in a more active learning experience. The students can
showcase their knowledge during the learning segment. Teachers can collect and distribute immediate
feedback. The active learning experience allows teachers to be intentional about volunteers and allows
every one to have something to contribute to the conversations.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL): This lesson is highly engaging for all learners. Nearpod
provides great visuals for young learners and includes visuals, videos, and more options for

expression for students with reading difficulties. The texts embedded in the tool is aligned to the
standard and includes multiple opportunities for students to showcase their learning. This software
and lesson support engagement because the students can actively read and respond to tasks for the
focus skill consonant le, el, and al. This lesson also supports action and expression because it is goal-
directed, differentiated, and leaves a large opportunity for students to express what they learned. This
leaves room for student choice and voice. The technology tools enhance the learning environment by
replacing the hassle of making copies and limiting each student to all work at the same pace.
Reflective Practice:
This lesson will uniquely impact student learning. The lesson includes serval opportunities to practice.
I am looking forward to seeing student responses in real time to provide feedback. Students will enjoy
this purposeful lesson as they work to meet-exceed learning goals. The students will be motivated to
learn new information about exotic amazing that they do not see daily. I look forward to enhancing
the research skills of young learners with hopes that they will take this newly developed skill and
thrive
