1 Startup through Patient Registration
1 Switch on PC power.
- Log-in screen of ImagePilot will be displayed following the OS startup
message.
2 Input the user name and password
from the keyboard, and click [Log-in]
button.
- Patient reception screen will be
displayed.

3 Click [New Exam] button.

- Now, the screen is ready to accept input
of Patient Information.
4 a) In the case of specifying the Patient ID:
Input the Patient ID from the
4 keyboard, and press [Enter] key.
b) In the case of auto-ID issue:
Click [Create ID] button.

Information from the keyboard.
6 Click [Add Exam] button.
- The patient information will be
registered in reception.

- Viewer screen for the input patient will be
displayed.
[Process Data] button shall be used only
when handling the data for the patient not
visiting the institute.

2 Capturing CR Images through Image Processing
Ensure that the viewer screen displayed on the screen
corresponds to the selected patient. The name of the patient
currently undergoing examination will be displayed in light
blue on the patient tag at the top left of the screen.
1 Click [Modality] button for CR.

2 Insert the exposed cassette into the
cassette reader.
- Progress bar indicating that the image
is being captured will be displayed at
the lower left of the screen, and the
image after it is captured will be
displayed on ImagePilot screen.
Each click of [Rotate] button at the
upper left of the image will rotate the
image by 90 degrees.
Each click of [Flip] button will switch
between flipped and unflipped.

3 After clicking [Window Level] button,

decreases dragging the mouse up/down or
right/left on the captured and
Density Density selected image will allow adjustment

2 After selecting [Mode] ("Generic" or
"PDI"), click [Write] button.
- The data will be saved in the media.
- When the data is written to disk, the
drive tray automatically opens after
completion of the write process.

In addition to the above, output to the film, plain paper as well as
to the Host is also possible. Clicking [Batch Output] button
allows output of all images to the preset printer.

Shutdown
1 Click [X] located at the upper right corner
1 of viewer or patient reception screen.
- When viewer screen is open with
[Modality] button selected, the
selection will be automatically
canceled.
- After the confirmation dialogue is
displayed, OS desktop screen will be
displayed.

2 Click in sequence [Start] menu -> [Turn
Off Computer] button -> [Turn Off] button.
         addition of annotation or measurement can be implemented using the
Image Tool. - ImagePilot power will be shut down.
