I. Interview/Assessment of Applicant’s Documents

In light of the increasing number of COVID-2019 cases in the country and for the
safety of everyone, the Personnel Selection Board (PSB) convened to conduct the interview
together with the assessment the documents of the applicants for Master Teacher I
(Elementary) online through google meet.
There were twelve (12) initial applicants for the said position and all were able to
participate in the assessment of documents. Prior to the assessment, the following were
unanimously agreed by the committee:

1. Experience
The committee decided to consider three (3) years of relevant experience in
accordance with the quality standards of the position.

2. Training
The position doesn’t require relevant training as per stated in its quality standards.

Assessment Proper of Documents

The documents submitted by the applicant were assessed according to the
guidelines set for the position per MEC Order No. 10, s. 1979 “Implementing Rules and
Regulations for the System of Career Progression For Public School Teachers” and DECS
Order No. 57, s. 1997 “Further Implementation of the Career Progression System For
Master Teachers”. The points given were based on the merit of the documents submitted.
