CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

This Chapter contains the statement of the problem and Significance of the Study
related to the impact of gadgets in learning.

Statement of the Problem

This study the impact of gadgets in learning to Senior HighSchool students.

Specifically , it answered the following Sub problems:

1.How many gadgets does a Student have?

2.What is the impact of using too much Gadgets?

3.How gadgets will help students in learning?

Significance of the Study

This study determined the impact of gadgets in students’ learning in AMA colleges. This

was significant to the following:

Students - They will know the benefits of using gadgets in learning and help them study

effectively

Teachers – this will give awareness to teachers to allow students to use gadgets more

freely and also to guide them in using Gadgets.


CHAPTER 3

RESEARCH QUESTION,RESEARCH INSTRUMENT

INTRODUCTION

This chapter contains Research Question and Research Instrument related to the

impact of gadgets in learning.

Research Question

1.How Gadgets affect learning?

2.What role do gadgets have in learning?

3.What is the badside of using too much Gadget?

Research Instrument

1. How many device do you have?

2. What role do gadgets have in learning?

3. What is the badside of using too much gadgets?

4. Does using gadgets help’s you in learning?

5. How often do you use gadgets?


CHAPTER 4

PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS, AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA

INTRODUCTION

The data analysis and findings from the 15 survey questionnaires responded are discussed in this

chapter by the Senior High school of AMA Computer College. The ultimate purpose of this study

is to determine the students' experiences and learning.

The study's goal was to find out more about:

- What is the Badside of using too much gadget?

- How many devices does a student have?

- Does using Gadgets help you in learning?

The survey question was given to the students using online survey form

Overall 71.4% of the respondent chose Very often, 14.3% of the respondent chose sometimes,

14.3% of the respondent chose Always.

0verall 57.1% of the respondent has 4 device, 28.6% of the respondent has 2 device, and 14.3%

has 1 devices.

The result of the survey conducted showed that using gadgets too much can be addictive, can’t manage

time properly etc. it shows that using gagdgets has a bad and good side.

Well it shows that there are many uses of gadgets just like our respondents answers, well not gonna

lie gadgets has so many uses to our everyday’s life.

Table 5. Does using gadgets helps you in learning?

Overall 90% of our respondents chose Definitely and 10% of our respondents chose sometimes.
CHAPTER 5

SUMMARY, CONCLUSIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS

INTRODUCTION

This chapter presents the summary of findings, conclusions, and recommendations based from the

findings undertaken by the researchers from the study entitled “The Impact of Gadgets in Learning

among Grade 11 Students’

Summary

The main purpose of the study was to determine the impact of gadgets in learning among Grade

11 students. It sought answers to the following problems:

1.How many gadgets does a student have; 2. What is the impact of using too much gadgets; 3.

How gadgets help student in learning.

Conclusions
Relative to the analysis and interpretation of data. The following conclusion were drawn:

1. Well base on my research a student has 4 device that he/she use.

2. The effect of using too much exposure to gadgets may negatively affect a individual brain

on its functioning, and may even cause attention deficit, cognitive delays, impaired

learning, increased impulsivity, and decreased ability to self regulation.

3. Learning Nowadays, students use the internet when they searching and also use online

libraries to do their assignments as well. Therefore, technological gadgets are very helpful

for students to improve their learning skills.

Recommendations

With all of the foregoing analysis, interpretation, and conclusions of this study of the

following strongly recommended for possible course of action.

1. The future researchers can conduct a similar study and improve some flaws.

2. Another research should be conducted as follow-up study to investigate further impact

of gadgets in learning.

3. Future researchers can use this study for references.
