ICA
WHAT TO DO IN THIS CITY?

Hello Fiorella, people visit many traditional tourist places in Ica. Families like
warm places near the capital, there are many places for example the Ballestas
Islands, Paracas, Ica and the dunes of Huacachina.

La Huacachina is a place where there are adventure sports for example

sandboarding or buggies. Also, there are always some restaurants in the center and
then you can take a boat ride and take many pictures of the sea lions, penguins and
other birds of the Ballestas Islands.

WHAT CAN YOU SEE IN THIS CITY?

Hi Carlos. First of all, there are the Nazca Lines, where you take a flight to observe
these figures from above. They are immense lines with large dimensions,
considered cultural heritage of humanity. Then, the park of the witches of
Cachiche, during the tour you realize that there are many legends and myths of
this town. Also, there is the Paracas reserve
where you can take beautiful photos of the flora and
fauna of this magical place.
WHERE CAN YOU BUY (SOUVENIRS, CLOTHES, ETC.) IN THIS CITY?

Hi Juan, a special memory, you must take the route called La Ruta del Pisco, where
the largest fruit production in Ica is grapes and therefore there is a wide variety of
pisco and wines. There are also some shops that can offer you various typical

artisan products made with clay

with a creative and ica touch.

There aren’t a few shops that sell souvenirs, but there is a wide variety to choose
from and they are always open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. every day, even on
weekends.

WHERE CAN YOU EAT IN THIS CITY?

The most touristic restaurant in Chincha is El Refugio de Mamainé. The price is
accessible, the seasoning is delicious. The place is rustic, simple, but it reflects the
happy spirit of Chincha. There is a live artistic show, musicians who entertain
lunch and there are also black dancers who show traditional Afro-Peruvian art and
best of all is the smile that Mrs. Esther Cartagena de
Cotito gives us.
