1.A Look into Color Theory in Web

Design
Unarguably one of the most important aspects of any design is
its colors.. Designers create the style of a site, as well as the
movement it makes, the emotion it creates, and its purpose based
largely upon the color choices they make. Colors are powerful
tools and an important thing all designers should understand when
creating websites.

What Colors Mean to Users

Most colors can be taken in a positive or negative manner,
depending on how it’s used, the other colors surrounding it, and
the connotation of the site itself. Here are some general meanings
of popular colors.

2.Introduction to typography
Website design consists of 95% typography.
Typography is the artfulness of bringing the text to life. Its main task is
to place letters and the text to become readable, pleasant, and
straightforward to visual perception by the users—many factors are
taken into account during the process: style, size, the color of the font.
In addition, designers use typography to increase the design
aesthetics and uniqueness through the text and evoke certain
emotions to the content.

Difference between typeface and font

typeface is a different family of fonts. It’s a set of symbols and signs.

In other words, it’s all the letters, numbers, punctuation, and other
things we can use to compose a sentence.
A font is inside a typeface — a set of symbols hastily.

Hierarchy
One of the main roles of hierarchy is to help keep your ideas organized, so that
viewers can always identify which category of information they are reading
A design that lacks higherarchy
in the next image, the font, size, color, and format of each hierarchical level has
been modified to be unique and stand apart from the other categories. Notice
that the webpage title, navigation menu, and main content headers, and body
text each have consistent styles, that are unique to their respective categories.

Contrast
Contrast makes text interesting and can help you communicate which ideas
you want to emphasize. Varying size, typeface, weight, color, and style can give
your designs a big impact as well as make your ideas organized

Consistency
Consistency is a key principle for all typography. Consistent fonts are especially
important, as using too many can lead to a confusing and messy look, so always
use the same font styling for the same information
Alignment
Alignment refers to the “line,” that the text orients towards. It can apply to a
whole body of text, individual words, or even images

Center aligned
Left alighned
Whitespace
Whitespace refers to the empty space around objects or text, and can take the
form of margins, padding, or just an uncluttered area

3.User interface design

What is UI design?
"UI design is about using typography, images, and other visual design
elements to turn a basic interface into something digestible and usable,"
What does a UI designer do?

A UI designer focuses on how the colors, typography, and images of a

design connect to the brand of a product.

4.What is UX design?
"UX design is about understanding the overall journey of your users and
turning it into a product." According to Jonathan, UX design refers to the entire
experience someone has with your product from start to finish. It attempts to
answer the question: How can I help people achieve their goals in the
simplest, most frictionless way possible?
In other words, UX design is concerned with the overall user-friendliness of an
entire customer journey.
What does a UX designer do?

"The role of a user experience designer is to understand the customer

journey. That means understanding the target audience, interviewing
customers, defining user flows, and conducting user testing,"

What’s the difference between UX and UI design?

User interface (UI) design refers to the aesthetic elements by which people
interact with a product, such as buttons, icons, menu bars, typography, colors,
and more. User experience (UX) design refers to the experience a user has
when interacting with a product. It focuses on the user journey and how
efficient and easy to use the product is.

SUMMARY
Color theory is the practice of using the meaning behind colors to bring about
a sensory experience. This practice can be applied to web design with some
knowledge and thought. People will often disagree about what certain colors
mean and what colors designers should use to implore a certain emotion.
