Rules for Admission for SC/ST students (2011-12) There shall be a reserved quota of 22% and 6% for SCs and STs respectively in each subjects (Hons.) and courses. If adequate number of ST candidates are not avilable, seats should be filled up by SC candidates and vice versa. Candidates belongs Schedule Cast or Scheduled Tribe community taking up honours, must have obtained a minimum of 40% in aggregate or 40% in subject or related subjects at the previos qualifying Examination. A SC or ST candidate getting admission should have qualifying marks in the previous which are not lower than 25% from the marks obtained by the last candidate of the general category. The candidates included in General Merit List, should not be counted towards reserved seats. Physically challenged 3% OBC.......... As per G.O. as and when available.
