 Any Medium or Large Character Race which is normally male-dominated. Other Races may be
appropriate, but with certain modifications to the class (see below).
 Fight and Save as Warrior
 Exceptional Strength, HP Bonus as Warrior
 Warrior Magic Items
 Proficiencies from General and Warrior groups. Riding, Horse and Animal Training, Horse are free.
 Limited Starting Weapons. Proficiency in Spear and Long Bow are required, and are the only weapons
the Amazon may specialize in. The Amazon may initially chose from: Battle Axe; Bow (Any); Club;
Dagger/Dirk; Hand/Throwing Axe; Javelin; Knife; Lance; Spear; and Sword (Any). The Amazon may
learn any weapon she comes across, but at the start of her career she may only learn these weapons.
 Limited Starting Armor and Any Shield. The Amazon may initially choose from: Leather; Padded;
Studded Leather; Brigandine; Scale Mail; Hide; Banded Mail; and Bronze Plate Mail. The Amazon
may purchase other armors as she adventures, but must choose from the listed armors at the start of her
career.
 Warrior Abilities Standard: Amazons’ Surprise;
 Amazon Abilities: None Standard, though the Amazon Warrior may choose from them at the same
base costs as the Amazon Class

 Dwarf Amazons substitute Axe and Hammer for Spear and Long Bow, and ride Boars instead of
horses.
 Gnome Amazons substitute Throwing Axe and Short Sword for Spear and Long Bow, and may
substitute Tracking and Survival for Riding and Animal Training, or take them with the pony.
 Halfling Amazons substitute Javelin and Sling for Spear and Long Bow, and may substitute Endurance
and Set Snares for Riding and Animal Training, or take them with the War Dog.
