INSTALLATION GUIDE
If PocketWifi Hotspot or USB to Ethernet adaptor was not included,
skip to BACnet connection Supplementary Internet Connections

Method 1 - Pocketwifi Hotspot

Step 1 Turn on PocketWifi Hotspot.
Red light for reception should turn on and become green.

Step 2 Connect hotspot to BACER via USB cable

Step 1 Connect USB Adaptor to BACER

Step 2 Connect the ethernet cable to the network switch with internet

Step 2 Connect the ethernet cable to the associated network switch

with BACnet connection.
This is usually the switch that is also used by the BMS PC.
 Step 3

Connect the power to the BACER The BACER should turn on automatically
and the power button should turn blue.

Step 4 Once all these have been confirmed, please contact

the CIM Engineer responsible for your site to confirm
all the connections are live.
