2022 Global Entrepreneurship Summer Camp (GESC)

The Center for Global Strategies and Planning at KAIST in partnership with Startup KAIST is
offering a special two-weeks summer program (in Korea and US) for students who wish to
experience and learn global entrepreneurship and startup mindset. The first week of the program is
offered by Startup KAIST at KAIST and the second week program is organized at Silicon Valley in
collaboration with Stanford University (Stanford Technology Venture Program), KAIST alumni at
Silicon Valley, and KOTRA at Silicon Valley.

Aims and Objective of 2022 GESC


To learn about global entrepreneurship through lectures, mentoring, team business model
development, company visits, and team pitching experiences in Silicon Valley to become future
global business leader.

Participants
KAIST students including pre-startup entrepreneurs and students who are interested in global
entrepreneurship with less than one year of incorporation experience (20 students to be selected)

Eligibility
Full-time KAIST (graduate and undergraduate) students who are enrolled in 2022 Spring
semester and eligible to travel to the US during Week 2 (6/26~7/3)

KAIST and Silicon Valley, U.S.

Tuesday, June 21st ~ Sunday, July 3rd, 2022

Documents to be submitted for application


Application Form, Personal Essay (1~2 pages, double spaced) and Personal Business Plan (PPT
Slides), Academic Transcripts, English Score (if any, TOEIC, TEPS, TOEFL, IELTS, etc.)

- Application Period: May 11th (Wed) ~ May 25th (Wed), 2022
* GSP will individually contact successful candidates who will proceed to the next step of
selection process (interview).
- In-person Interview: May 30th (Mon) ~ May 31 st (Tue)
- Final announcement of successful applicant: June 2nd (Thur)
- Orientation: June 7th (Tue)
