Chapter IINTRODUCTIONA.

SITUATION ANALYSIS

Work immersion is one way where students were given an opportunity to apply thetheories and
principles that they have learned from school. It also helps thestudents to apply the knowledge and skills
by performing in actual work settings. This is part of the senior high school curriculum that aims to train
and orient students about work andfuture career. It is a type of skill development where a student
learns how to do the workthrough hands-on experience. Work immersion is one method that we
students were exposedwith different work situations designed that serves an opportunity to experience
and a chanceto apply the theories that students have learned from school. It also helps students
toacquire relevant knowledge and skills by performing in actual work. Immersion isvery important not
only to teach students regarding their career, but also to showstudents the reality about engaging to the
actual work related to their course. It also allowsthose with no experience to work and to learn at the
same time. Work immersionhelps the trainees to learn more about their chosen field and practice what
they have learnedfrom school. It helps in building up of the trainees

’ competence that will

develop the

one’s

professionalism in dealing with people. After the training, the trainee will be able tohandle situation
properly and do things successfully. In addition, it also helps toenhance the skills of the trainees. Work
immersion is one of the best trainingmethods because it is planned, organized and conducted in the
