TWIN LAKE

Twin Lakes are two lakes that are located

close to each other and have almost the same
size. Although familiarly referred to as the
Lake Above and the Lake Below, the naming
is actually inversely proportional to the
reality. The lake with a higher position is
called the Lake Below, while the lower lake
is called the Lake Above. Lake Diatas has a
depth of 44 meters, while Lake Bawah
whose deepest point is at 884 meters from
the water surface, a depth that is quite scary for a lake, even the local people do not dare to
take boats to the middle of the lake.
Twin lakes are located in Solok Regency, precisely in Alahan Panjang. Consisting of two
lakes, Lake Above is located on the side of the Padang Muara Labuh road. While Lake
Bawah is located in the village of Bukit Sileh, Lembang Jaya District. Lake Above and Lake
Below are often referred to as 'twin lakes' because they are located side by side, only 300
meters apart.

The difference that affects tourism activities in

these two lakes is the ease of access. Lake
Above has easy access to reach, even a car can
drive to the edge of the lake. In addition to the
clear blue water, the scenery around the lake is
