A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT PLAN , of the

Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Balud Capoocan, Leyte for Fiscal year 2022 in
the amount of Nine Hundred Seventy Nine Thousand Pesos Only (979.000).

WHEREAS, Republic Act 10742, “The Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015” and
its implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) provides for the allocation of SK funds on specific
programs, projects and activities;

WHEREAS, this Plan and Budget carries out the objectives of the youth in the barangay
in accordance with the CBYDP and the provisions of RA 10742 & other applicable laws;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan has initiated this Plan and Budget to promote
equitable access to quality education, environmental protection, climate change adaptation,
disaster risk reduction and resiliency, youth employment and livelihood, health including health
services and adolescent sexual and reproductive health, anti-drug abuse, gender sensitivity,
sports development, social protection, and capability building which emphasizes leadership
training;

NOW THEREFORE, this body assembled,

RESOLVED, to approve as it hereby approves the Annual Barangay Youth Investment
Plan and Budget for 2021 of Brgy. Balud, Capoocan, Leyte.

A resolution adopting the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program (ABYIP) and
Budget for 2022, amounting to Nine Hundred Seventy Nine Thousand Pesos Only
(Php.979,000)

WHEREAS, the Youth Investment Program sets the youth’s strategic directions for this
year and provides an explicit expression of the younger constituents’ priorities that are
consistent with the developmental plans of the barangay;

WHEREAS, the formulation of the youth developmental plan involved the participation
of the majority of the younger constituents from needs identification to plan implementation;

WHEREAS, the ABYIP represents the youth aspirations and priorities, and in consonance
with RA 10742 or the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015 and recent memoranda for
this purpose;

WHEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Leo Piangco, with the unanimous accord of all
members present, be it;

RESOLVED, as it is HEREBY RESOLVED to adopt the Annual Barangay Youth Investment

Program (ABYIP) and Budget for 2022.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL BUDGET OF SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF
BARANGAY BALUD, CAPOOCAN, LEYTE C.Y 2021-2022 AMOUNTING TO EIGHT
HUNDRED ONE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SIX PESOS AND 76/100 ONLY
(801,406.76).

On motion of SK Member Leo Piangco Jr. and duly seconded by SK Member Mary Imma
Ron, be it.

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved to approve the Annual Budget of Sangguniang

Kabataan of Barangay Balud, Capoocan, Leyte for CY 2021-2022 in the amount of eight
hundred one thousand four hundred six pesos and 76/100 only (801,406.76).

RESOLVED FURTHER, to let copies of this resolution to be furnished to the Municipal

Agency concern.

Approved unanimously.
