1. Read and study – Republic Act 110338 (Expanded National Integrated Protected
Areas System)
2. Name at least two (2) terrestrial, two (2) inland wetland, and two (2) coastal and
marine Protected Areas (PAs) in the Philippines. Prepare a simple matrix by
identifying the types of ecosystems and indicator species present in the identified PAs.

-It is a newly discovered plant in Mount
Arayat which is part of family Rubiaceae or
known as the coffee madder or bedstraw
Mount Arayat family. According to DENR-Central Luzon
National Park in Forested Stratovolcano executive director Paquito Moreno, Jr., this
Pampanga new plant species indicates that Mt. Arayat is
a healthy biological diversity because of
continuously growing of rare plants.
BIRD SPECIES
-There were also bird species that are present
in Mount Arayat such as; Metallic Pigeon,
Zebra dove, Asian Emerald Dove, etc.
It is a Forested ecosystem PLANT SPECIES
