So, this is my
presentation video of Individual Assignment Credit Management (FIN368).
First of all, I want to talk about the current issues of credit management. Based on the articles Bank
Negara to enact Consumer Credit Act in 2022. This articles issue is about BNM now is working with
necessary authorities to keep track of changes and educate the public about BNPL programmed,
although the percentage of credit given to households and the schemes remains low. Malaysians must
carefully study the terms and conditions, particularly the fees and charges, in order to avoid penalties,
pay the instalment in full on time, and keep track of their individual BNPL commitments to ensure
good debt management. The introduction of a Consumer Credit Act, planned in Budget 2021, aims to
create a legal framework for consumer loan issuance while also enhancing control of non-bank credit
providers. The Federation of Malaysian Consumers Associations has long lobbied for the passage of
this legislation to improve consumer protection in the financial industry.
Job Description
First of all, I've always wanted to work in a bank. I recognize the significance of banking institutions in
our daily lives. Life would be considerably more difficult without loans, mortgages, credit cards, and,
of course, savings accounts. It is an honor to assist someone in pursuing their aspirations, paying for
their college education, purchasing a new home, and so on. Furthermore, I admire how well everyone
here acts, the dress code, and everything. My dream job is to work in a bank, and teller is the only
position I can feasibly get without prior experience. Other than that, People enjoy talking to me
because I have excellent communication skills. They regard me as an excellent listener, someone who
can detect the words between the lines, the underlying emotions and desires of the customers. This
ability, in my opinion, is critical for an excellent banker in order to spot an opportunity for an up-sell
or to know what product to offer to the customer. That is why I am interested in working as a teller.
And I'm hoping that my adventure will not end there, and that I will advance in my job at this bank.
