MAGNETIC DEVICE FOR ADJUSTING THE DRIVING TORQUE
Technical Field
The invention relates to a magnetic device for adjusting the driving torque which
will be used with an electric motor, a thermic motor or any other motor.
Background Art
The patent RO 119 58 discloses a magnetic mechanism for the transmission and
amplification of the magnetic torque, consisting in an assembly having a disk on
which are provided some permanent magnets, as well a sub-assembly provided
on its circumference with permanent magnets, the two sub-assemblies being
placed on a primary shaft, which is placed on some axial bearings, a sub¬
assembly having a disk provided with some permanent magnets on its surface
and which is placed on a secondary shaft which is perpendicular to the primary
shaft and which is placed on radial axial bearings.
This mechanism has the advantage that it lacks direct transmission using a
primary transmission, a secondary transmission and a magnetic transmission;
also, the amplification of the driving torque with this device leads implicitly to an
increase of consumption on the primary shaft.
Disclosure of Invention
The objective of this invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the solutions
of the state of the art.
This objective is reached with the magnetic device for adjusting the driving torque
as shown in the appended claim . The device according to the invention consists
from at least a stator provided with at least one circular row of recesses in which
are placed permanent magnets N-S radially polarized, in a sequence N-S, N-S
or S-N, S-N, with inclination angles ranging between 18° and 55° relative to the
corresponding radii of a shaft on which is mounted at least one rotor, the rotor
having at least two arms, placed radially symmetric, each arm having recesses
in which are placed permanent magnets with N-S radial polarization, in a
sequence N-S, N-S or S-N, S-N, in a radial symmetric arrangement in relation to
the mentioned shaft, in circular arcs with inclination angles ranging between 18°
and 55° relative to the corresponding radii, both the permanent magnets of the
stator and those of the rotor being provided with some magnetic shields.
In a preferred embodiment, the stator is configured with at least two circular
concentric rows of recesses in which are placed permanent magnets N-S radially
polarized, in a sequence N-S, N-S or S-N, S-N.
In another preferred embodiment, the rotor consists of three arms disposed
radially symmetric, each arm being provided with recesses in which are placed
N-S radially polarized permanent magnets, in a sequence N-S, N-S or S-N, S-N,
radially symmetric to the mentioned shaft.
In another preferred embodiment, the rotor is configured as a drum with five
arched symmetrically radial arms, each arm being provided with recesses in
which are placed N-S radially polarized permanent magnets, in a sequence N-S,
N-S or S-N, S-N, radially symmetric to the mentioned shaft.
It is an object of the present invention, the use of the magnetic device for adjusting
the driving torque in a wind turbine.
The advantages of the device according to the present invention are obvious:
- the possibility to place the device on any type of driving group, it does not
require a primary, secondary or elastic transmission, so it can be placed
directly on the propeller's shaft or on the driving group;
- the device according to the present invention reduces the low kinetic value
time, with applications for wind turbines, hydrokinetic turbines, etc.;
- high applicability due to its direct placement on the primary shaft, secondary
transmission groups not being necessary anymore.
arms, in which are radially placed, in circular arcs with inclination angles
between 18° and 55°, for example of 24° relative to the corresponding radii,
cylindrical or rectangular N-S polarized permanent magnets (4), in a
sequence N-S, N-S or S-N, S-N, also shielded by the magnetic screens (5)
on one to three of the faces of the permanent magnets of the rotor.
Industrial applicability
Fig. 4 and fig. 5 illustrate schematically a variant of use of the device according
to the present invention on an electric motor (fig. 4), aiming to adjust the
driving torque and to reduce the electrical energy consumption, while fig. 5
represents a variant of assembly of the device according to the present
invention on a wind turbine, with the goal to reduce the low kinetic value times,
a slow wind respectively.
The implementation of the magnetic device for adjusting the driving torque
according to the present invention is not limited to what is presented in the
appended drawings, but it can consist in many implementations all
encompassed by the scope of the appended claims. Furthermore, the
materials as well as the dimensions of the individual components can be the
appropriate ones in order to fit the specific requirements.
