Welcome to the Communication, Level 3 Alternative Delivery
Mode (ADM) Learning Packet on Look and Respond When Spoken
to!
This learning packet was collaboratively designed, developed and
reviewed by educators to assist you, and the teacher or facilitator
in helping the learners meet the standards set by the K to 12
Curriculum while overcoming their personal, social, and economic
constraints in schooling.
This learning resource hopes to engage the learners into guided
and independent learning activities at their own pace and time.
Furthermore, this also aims to help learners acquire the needed 21st
century skills while taking into consideration their needs and
circumstances.

What the Learner Needs to Know
After going through this learning packet, the learner
is expected to:
Matapos maisagawa ang mga gawain sa materyal na ito, ang mag-aaral
ay inaasahang

1. make an eye contact in most places and with most


people for more than 5 seconds;
makatitingin nang may pokus sa mga kinakausap sa iba’t ibang lugar sa
loob ng 5 segundo;

2. look at the person while talking by holding his gaze


at a time;
mapanatiling nakatingin nang deretso sa taong kinakausap;

3. identify the ways of establishing eye contact when


spoken to or during a conversation;
matukoy ang tamang paraan nang pagtingin nang deretso sa mata ng
taong kinakausap;

4. respond to his/her name through words, gestures,


smile or sign every time he/she is called;
makatugon sa pamamagitan nang pagsalita, pagkaway, pagsenyas o
pagngiti kung tinawag ang iyong pangalan;

5. say “thank you” when praised;


makapagsabi nang “salamat po” kapag ikaw ay pinuri;

6. approach or initiate the conversation on familiar


people with words, gestures, or signs.
