Instant TENDER-JEL® C Starch

This pregelatinized, modified waxy starch is capable of imbibing relatively large quantities of water,
forming high viscosity solutions, and high moisture gels. Its properties are best utilized in extra moist
cakes and cake mixes, doughnuts, soft cookies and similar products.

Instant TENDER-JEL C starch meets requirements of "Food Starch - Modified" under FDA Regulation
21CFR172.892. It also meets National Food Processors Association Standards for canners’ starch.

Preparation
Dry blend Instant TENDER-JEL C with four parts of a carrier/dispersant such as sugar, then add slowly to
cold water, maintaining constant agitation until completely in solution.

Storage and Handling

Store at ambient temperatures and humidities. Handling and mixing properties may be slightly improved
if the starch is stored in a cool, dry place.

Availability
Instant TENDER-JEL C is available in 80 lb multiwalled bags for truckload, carload and LCL shipments.
