Why technical documentation is important?

Technical documentation is important because it gives people and organizations access to critical
information about a product or service. This data enables all parties to fulfill their objectives. The goal
for end-users may be to enjoy a product while enhancing its usefulness and extending its life cycle,
which is made possible by well-written technical documentation. Meanwhile, if end users read the
instructions, use the items appropriately, and refer to the user guide to troubleshoot their own
problems, the company may save money on customer care and replacements.
