• Quiet Study
Lower levels of the library are designated as quiet to do not disturb other students. Cellphones aren’t allowed
and users must speak quietly. There is also disposable ear plugs are available at the library
• Reserves
To access reserve items, ask at the services desk. In addition to books, they also provide blankets, laptop and
phone chargers, chess sets, and other games.
• Student Employment
Students may apply to provide circulation assistance and other services at the library. To apply, fill out an
application form and scheduling form.
Each floor there are available multi-function unit (MFU), they are for printing, copying, and scanning. There is
also a Lexis printer on the upper level MFU room. For facsimiles, go to the school’s print shop.
• Reference
They provide services I person at the libaray service desk and through email @albanylaw.edu.
o Reference Hours
• Group Study
You can reserve a room for group study for a four-hour block. A student ID is required to access the room key.
• Serenity Room
It is a room, Room L017 available for quiet contemplation, meditation, calming sensory overload, reflection,
and/or prayer.
They provide access for databases like Westlaw, LexisNexis, And Bloomberg Law. They all require individual
registration.
Circulation
• Interlibrary loan
They can be accessed through the software used by the library, ILLiad.
• Account Holds
Holds will be placed when your account have ten or more overdue items or you have accrued $10.00 fines in
the library.
