Ph: 0663-2410992, 2410970, 2410721, Email: dsmssambalpur@gm:A workshop ~cum-interface meeting was hold on 22" Dec, 2020 with Secretary, RMC, Kuchinda, Dy, CEO, ORMAS, Sambalpur, President/Secretary of 12 PGs and Board Members of S FPOs in presence of Market Supervisor, APC project staff and Secretary, SARC (NGO) to orient the PG members on functioning of e-NAM, registration in it and planning to: market the surplus produce though e-NAM platform. The following polnts were discussed and decisions were taken: ‘© This was a follow up programme of the meeting held on 2" Dec. 2020 with Sub- Collector, Kuchinda and Secretary, RMC, Kuchinda, The objective was to assess the marketable surplus available at PG level and to bring the surplus items to sell ‘through e-NAM platform. ‘© Atthe outset Dy. CEO, ORMAS explained the benefits of e-NAM to the PG members and shared that the products of Kuchinda will get a market at national level though this e-NAM, © The Secretary, RMC, Kuchinda told that 31 RMC incluc Kuchinda are registered under e-NAM in Odisha. He explained in detail about the purpose and benefits of e- NAM platform. Than he explained in details about the process of marketing through e-NAM i.e. after entry of the produce to RMC, then sample will go to assaying lab, the result will be uploaded in the portal, then bidding will be opened for a fixed time. After the opening of the bidding the fair price bidder will be given the preference, With farmer's rate satisfaction, the lot will be sold or rejected. If the seller agreed ‘than weight of products will be done and sale agreement will be made and financial transaction will start. After few hours the farmer will get his dues. The live demonstration of e-NAM marketing was shown to PG members. © The assessment of surplus products was done by involving the PGs and FPOs and it ‘was found that, there is 1867 Quintals of Chilli from 207 Ag. Similarly, Mustard 490 Q Potato 850 Q, Ginger 1500Q, Mango 15400, Watermelon 15000, Sal seeds 17400, Mahua flower 1670Q and Tamarind 300Q will be available in next few months. The PG wise detalls of the production/collection are attached in Annexure- L ‘© Then in the discussion it was finalized that value addition of Mango, Ginger and Chili will be done. RMC, Kuchinda will provide solar dryer for Chilli cluster and Slicer & grinder for Maa Parvati PG, Tainsar, Kuchinda for Mango and Maa Maheswari PG, Katarkela, Jamankira for Ginger. ‘© For better management of harvested products, specialized training on post-harvest management and value addition to PGs involved in Chilli and Mango will be imparted by RMC, Kuchinda, «After the meeting nine PGs were registered under e-NAM portal.
