List of course and timetable: Respective departments will issue list of courses and timetable before the start of registration. General Instructions
Online registration will be opened from 9:00am till the close of labs during the above period. For manual registration, please observe the office hour announced by the departments. Two courses are allowed to register in summer semester. The Lab if offered would be part of it.
Only those students are allowed to register in summer who have received F, W or lower grade in that course. University Repeat Rules are applicable on all cases. Fee is payable by all students including those who are receiving study loan or on government scholarship. Semester registration fee is Rs. 1,500/Tuition fee per course is shown in the below table: Undergraduates (All Batches) Graduates (All Batches) Rs. 13,700/Rs. 17,833/-
Fee is payable latest by June 03, 2011. The chalan form can be obtained from Account Office from May 28, 2011 till June 02, 2011. The fee is payable in Bank AL-Falah, Gulberg Branch between 2:00pm to 5:00pm, on a Challan Form available from Account Office. The online registration will be disabled for all students. Those who paid fee will show the original paid challan in their respective department and the department will then enable the registration for that student. Fee is payable by all students who have requested to offer the course.
Students are advised to do not take any course whose prerequisite is not cleared. Please note that the courses of violators shall be Withdrawn without refund of any fee. No add / drop shall be allowed. Transfer of courses from one to other may be allowed subject to condition imposed by the department before the start of semester. Withdrawal from courses is allowed under university rules till the last day of classes. No student is allowed to take course in advance of his/her batch. Legers may take mew courses as per rules. Students on academic warning will register course manually through their advisors.
The registration of those students who are on academic warning would be tentative even if allowed by the advisor/department. They must consult their advisors again in case the warning count increased to 2 after the registration is done. Those who received 3 rd warning shall have to quit the semester immediately. All such students are advised to check their Radix for further update on daily basis.
Registration Procedure:
The advisor will only suggest courses to those students whose results for all courses are declared and available on radix.
A student may request to HOD of his/her department in writing for the taking cross discipline course. The approved applications will be forwarded to the department where the course is being offered. Upon approval of application by the HOD, the course will be entered in Radix by the later department with intimation through email to student and office concerned.
Important Notes
Graduating batch has the priority of registration in any course of their discipline. Minimum number of registered students required to offer a repeat courses is 10. No student is allowed to bypass the university rules.
University rules regarding Attendance Policy and Warning System are also applicable in summer semester. Students are advised to follow the above registration rules and schedule strictly.
