A.Recalling the lesson
6. What was the balance of ‘teacher doing things’ compared
with ‘students doing things’ in the lesson?
There were activities that involved the student and their
participation in class. Overall, students participated a lot in
things of the lesson, for example at the time of reading an
instruction or explaining what the activity is about. It was a
very balanced class between the student and the teacher.

9. Recall one moment in the lesson when you had a clear


decision to make between one option and another. What
were the options you chose and rejected?
I had to decide almost at the end of the class if I had to send
them to breakout rooms or if they should work on the main
session for an activity. I chose to work in the main session
because breakout rooms would take too much time and
would be more difficult to bring back the attention of the
students, that’s why I chose to work on the main session.

B.Reflecting on the lesson


5. At what points could you have been clearer?
I could have been clearer at the time of expressing the idea
of the activity, the purpose and the instructions. Also, there
were parts where I got a bit nervous and made my voice
tremble, so that distracted me from explaining correctly
everything.

7. Where were the main challenges for the students?


At the activities using the vocabulary, because there were
animals names that they hadn’t heard of before, so they had
to review again and finish the activities.

5. What have you learned about your students?


I have learned that is okay to be nervous at first, but I have to
gain confidence so my students can feel like they can ask
questions to me without me losing the point of what I was
saying. They thaught me I can talk about the lesson and I can
make a little stop to clarify a point.
