Application Process

1. How many rounds of applications for undergraduate programs does SIIT have? What
are they?

For undergraduate programs, there are 4 ways of applications:

1.) Outstanding Student Program (OSP) & SIIT Entrance Examination (Application Period: August –
September)
2.) TU Direct (Application Period: November)
3.) SIIT Entrance Examination & Submission of National Test Scores and Standardized Test Scores
(Application Period: March – April)
4.) Central University Admission System (Application Period: May)

2.Where can I fill out an application form?


You must go to the following link to fill out an online application form.

3.What are the procedures for SIIT application?


1.) Fill in your information.

3.) Print out the Application Form; sign on every page; attach 1 inch photograph.
4.) Print out the Application Card, attach 2 photographs (1 inch), and send the part of “For SIIT
Officer” with other relevant documents. Bring the “For Applicant” part with you on the exam date.
5.) Transfer to the application fee to one of the following bank accounts:

- OSP = 500 Baht

4.When can I submit my Standardized Test Scores, GAT/PAT scores, or Common 9


Subjects?
The application period for Submission of National Test Scores and Standardized Test Scores is
from March – April.

5. What are the criteria for submission of National Test Scores or Standardized Test
Scores?

7. What should I do if I made mistakes on my application?


You must inform Admission staff through 02-986-9009 Ext. 1002-1006 or
admission@siit.tu.ac.th. Have your application number ready when you call.

Registration

8. If I register with SIIT, will I be eligible for other direct exams or CUAS?
For Outstanding Student Program (OSP) & SIIT Entrance Examination (Application Period: August
– September) and TU Direct (Application Period: November), you will be eligible for other direct
exams, but you will not be eligible for CUAS.

However, for SIIT Entrance Examination & Submission of National Test Scores and Standardized
Test Scores (Application Period: March – April), after registering with SIIT, you will still be eligible for
both CUAS and other direct exams.

9. If I am not available during the registration period, can my parents register on my


behalf?
Your parents can register on your behalf during the registration period.

10. Where can I pay for the registration fee?


You can transfer to the registration fee to one of the following bank accounts;

11. If I have not got my official student photo taken, can I still register with SIIT?
Yes, you can. You can submit the official student photo and other documents after the registration
period (by the due date for additional documents submission).

12. In high school, I joined a student exchange program for 1 year. Can I use the
transcript from both schools?
You can use both transcripts.

Scholarships

13. How many types of scholarships does SIIT offer?

14. If I cannot get a scholarship from OSP Program, will I have another opportunity to be
considered for other types of scholarships?

15. What are the requirements to maintain a scholarship?


You must maintain your cumulative GPA of at least a 2.75.

16. Do scholarship recipients need to reimburse the funds after the graduation?
Scholarship recipients do not need to reimburse the funds.

Others

17. How much is the tuition fee per semester?


The tuition fee is approximately 90,000 Baht per semester.

18. What are EL070, EL171, and EL172?


• EL070 : English Course 1
• EL171 : English Course 2
• EL172 : English Course 3

19. Is it compulsory to take summer classes?


Summer sessions are optional. The enrollment period is at the beginning of June, and the summer
classes are from June to July. *Please note that there are limited seats for the enrollment.

20. Is it compulsory to stay in the dormitory?


Only EFS students must stay in SIIT dormitory (Bangkadi Campus) for the 1st year.

21. Which campus do I have to study?


All freshmen have to study on Rangsit Campus. From sophomore to senior year, ChE/CE/ME/IE
students study on Rangsit Campus, and EC/CPE/IT/EM/MT students study on Bangkadi Campus.
