Assess patients in triage for preterm labor, active labor, membrane rupture, or any pregnancy complications.
Assist in maintaining pregnancy in antepartum mothers. Manage patients in labor including, induction
assistance, epidural assistance, pain management, education, and delivery support. Assist and circulate in
the operating room for cesarean sections. Post-surgical recovery care after cesarean sections. Monitoring
fetal heartbeat and length and strength of contractions during labor. Newborn care and assessment for
healthy infant. Collaboration with care management team including anesthesiologist, physician or midwife,
lactation nurse and charge nurse. Assist with fetal demise.

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT NURSE

East Liverpool City Hospital, East Liverpool, Ohio 08/19-Current
Quickly assess patient needs and prioritize patient care. Treat critical injuries, trauma, illnesses, and allergic
reactions. Work collaboratively with doctors and other medical staff to provide exceptional care. Manage
multiple cases simultaneously while prioritizing patient needs. Perform all required diagnostic tests, minor
operations, and requested medical procedures, in line with hospital regulations. Communicate with patients
and families to gather information and provide follow-up care instructions. Take vital signs, place IVs, place
urinary catheters, telemetry monitoring, BLS and ACLS.
