The Senior High School Focal Person, Mrs. Janice P. Arellano called a meeting at 9:40 in the morning held at the
SHS Faculty room, giving emphasis on the discussion of Managing Frequent Tardiness and Absenteeism among Senior
High School Students which is then discussed by the SHS teachers.

1. Difference between Tardiness and Absenteeism


Mrs. Marnily P. Cabuang and Ms. Marife C. Plares carefully discussed the difference between tardiness and
absenteeism using the context of DepEd guidelines.

2. Reasons of Tardiness and Absenteeism


Ms. Gillian Mei M. Sanchez and Mr. Jerry N. Fernandez discussed some of the common reasons of tardiness and
absenteeism among senior high school students.

3. Effects of Tardiness and Absenteeism


Mrs. Mari Ann P. Parajas and Mr. Wirren C. Macaraeg focused on the effects of tardiness and absenteeism to
senior high school students in different aspects of life.

4. Managing and Preventing Frequent Tardinesses and Absenteeism


Mrs. Winnie T. Calimlim intensely discussed on how to manage and prevent frequent tardinesses of senior high
school students.

5. Open Forum
To further have knowledge on how to deal with specific situations concerning tardiness and absenteeism, Mrs.
Janice P. Arellano led an open forum where teachers can give queries.

Due to the active cooperation of all SHS Faculty members and staff, the LAC Session was conducted successfully
and was adjourned at 12:00 noon.

The Senior High School Focal Person, Mrs. Janice P. Arellano called a meeting at 3:0 in the afternoon held at the
SHS Science Laboratory room, giving emphasis on the Strategy for the Improvement of the Teaching and Learning
Process which is then discussed by the SHS teachers.

1. Key Features of the K to 12 Basic Education Program


Ms. Gillian Mei Sanchez and Mr. Jerry N. Fernandez started the session by discussing the key features of the K to
12 Basic Education Program.

2. Learner Diversity and Student Inclusion


Mrs. Marnily P. Cabuang and Mr. Wirren C. Macaraeg shared important lessons about learner diversity and
student inclusion.

3. 21st Century Skills and ICT Integration in Instruction and Assessment


Mrs. Mari Ann P. Parajas and Mrs. Marife C. Plares shared knowledge on the 21 st century skills and ICT
integration in instruction and assessment.

4. Teaching Strategies for Individual, Pair or Group Activities


Mrs. Winnie T. Calimlim focused on sharing teaching strategies for individual, pair and group activities.

5. Curriculum Contextualization, Localization, and Indigenization


Mrs. Janice P. Arellano carefully discussed on how integrate contextualization, localization and indigenization on
the curriculum.

Due to the active cooperation of all SHS Faculty members and staff, the LAC Session was conducted successfully
and was adjourned at 4:30 in the afternoon.
