1 Scope
The purpose of this method statement is to describe the construction methodology adopted for the
execution of refrigerant piping Installation at the Johndurf Project.

3. Material Submittal
To control and ensure the construction work is carried out to the required contract specification
and approved shop drawings.
Notifying QC engineer and issuing the RFI (request for inspection and approval) in timely manner
24 hours in advance. The relevant reports are to be submitted to the Engineer Representative .
Accompanying the Engineer’s representative for ongoing inspection and obtain his approval to
proceed with next activity.
4 Materials
All materials shall comply with contract specification requirements and approved material
submittals.
5 Sequence of Work
6 Safety
6.1. Prior to commencement, all activities shall be coordinated with the project safety officer, who
will assess the associated risks if any, and monitor the implementation of the project safety plan
and liaise with the construction team to ensure a safe working environment.
6.2. The safety officer in charge to ensure that all workers are equipped with their P.P.E throughout
the construction work.
6.3. The safety officer in charge in coordination with the construction manager is to study, organize
and control the traffic flow during the operation of this working procedure.
6.4. The safety officer in charge to organize and conduct necessary periodic toolbox meetings for
supervisory staff and manpower, to ensure the construction team are well aware of safety
requirements.
7.1 All the materials shall comply with approved Material Submittal Approval.
7.2. The materials and hand tools will be checked properly by storekeeper before issue to site in
good condition.
7.3. The storekeeper will check and issue of all project materials with the material receipt form which
signed by site engineer.
7.4. All project materials will be identified and stored in location with the same type where space
permits. Project materials and equipments in open storage will be adequately covered to
protect it from the weather conditions.
