Dear Magentharau,

LETTER OF APPOINTMENT

We take pleasure to offer you an employment with Airbus Customer Services Sdn. Bhd. (1072022-
H) (herewith known as “the Company”) based on terms & conditions as follows:

1. Designation : Supplier Development Manager


(Job Description attached is part of this letter)

2. Grade : Band 5A

3. Reporting to : Head Of Supplier Development East Asia

4. Department : Hosting

5. Location:

Your place of work is at Airbus Customer Services Sdn Bhd, Lot PT16, Jalan KLIA S7, Southern
Support Zone, KL International Airport, 64000 Sepang Selangor, Malaysia but the Company
reserves the right to change this to any of the Company’s branches, subsidiaries, associated
and/or holding companies.

6. Certificate of Good Conduct

You are required to obtain a Certificate of Good Conduct from Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
Malaysia. Please see attached document on guidelines to obtain this certificate. You must
present this certificate within 1-month of acceptance on this offer letter. The cost to produce this
certificate to us is not claimable from the Company. If Ministry of Foreign Affairs and/or relevant
authorities should for any reason whatsoever and not attributable to the Company, revoke your
Certificate of Good Conduct, then your employment with the Company will be treated as
terminated and the Company will not be liable to pay you any payment as stated in Clause 9
and/or 22.

7. Salary

The Company shall pay you a basic gross salary of RM17,500.00 (Malaysian Ringgit:
Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred Only) per month. Your salary will be reviewed from time
to time solely at the discretion of the Company depending on your performance.

8. Bonus

A performance bonus shall be paid to you solely on the discretion of the Company. The criteria
for this bonus will be based on the performance of the company and your individual performance
which will be reviewed on an annual basis by the Company.

9. Probation

Your employment with the Company is subject to probation of (6) six months commencing from
your employment date. During this period your performance will be regularly reviewed and if you
complete the period satisfactorily, you will be notified in writing of your appointment to the
Company’s permanent staff. If during or at the end of your probationary period the Company is
dissatisfied with your performance, your employment will be terminated by one (1) months’ notice
in writing from the Company.

Likewise should you wish to terminate your employment during this probationary period you must
give the Company one (1) months’ notice of termination in writing.

The Company reserves the right to extend the probationary for the better assessment of your
performance. You will be notified in writing if the Company extends the probationary period. On
expiry of the probation period, you are not automatically confirmed unless you receive the
confirmation in writing. Once you have successfully completed the probationary period and
confirmed in your position, your employment may be terminated in accordance with the clauses
set out below.

Likewise, the Company reserves the right to expedite your probationary period as deem justified..

10. Statutory Deductions

Deductions shall be made from your monthly wages for the following statutory requirements:
i) Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) according to the Employees Provident Fund
Act 1991 (Non-compulsory for foreigner) - 11% from your salary deduction and
12% from the Company’s subject to any changes that may be introduced by the
Government.

ii) Social Security (SOCSO) in accordance with the Social Security Act 1969 –
Deductions in accordance to the Schedule shall be made if you are already a
contributor.

iii) Income Tax – Deductions shall be made in accordance with the Schedule
published by the Inland Revenue Board.

iv) Employment Insurance System (EIS) – Deduction in accordance to the


Schedule 2 Employment Insurance System Act 2017 (Non-applicable for
foreigner).

11. Working hours

The normal working hours are:


Mondays-Fridays 9:00am to 6:00pm
Saturdays 9:00am to 12:00pm

The Company reserves the right to change this as needed by business operations and you will
be notified accordingly.

You are required to travel both inside and outside Malaysia at short or/and long durations
frequently. The Company’s travel policy for the time being in force will be applied during such
travels.

12. Operations Staff

You will be notified by your immediate Manager of the scheduled shifts and working hours as
appropriate. The Company reserves the right to modify these working hours as and when it
deems necessary. The nature of our business sometimes may require us to vary the normal
operating hours, so that you need not necessarily be required to work in shifts and /or during
your rest-days. If you are affected in either case, your Manager will inform you beforehand and
you must give all cooperation that may be necessary to accommodate the Company’s business
and operating needs.

13. Annual leave

Your entitlement is 20 days per year, and it shall be in addition to all Statutory and Gazetted
Public Holidays.

14. Medical Leave

You may be granted up to fourteen (14) days out-patient medical leave each calendar year
subject to the presentation of a medical certificate issued by one of our approved panel doctor
or a registered medical practitioner within 24 hours upon your return to work and to the provisions
of the Employment Act 1955.

Insurance

 Group Hospitalization & Surgical Insurance Scheme


Group Hospitalization & Surgical Insurance Plan covers any hospitalization and surgical
expenses incurred. This plan provides basic protection and assistance against the cost
of medical treatment and hospitalization confinement in the event of sickness or injury
or surgical treatment of an employee.

 Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme
All employees are covered under the Company’s Group Personal Accident Insurance
Scheme. This policy has the following features:
(a) It has 24-hour coverage
(b) It provides accidental death and disablement benefits of various amounts
depending on the employee’s position in the Company.

 Group Term Life Insurance


You will be covered by a Group Term Life Plan and the exact quantum of coverage for
you is determined by the policy at the time in force. Details are in Employee Handbook
given upon joining.

16. Business Requirements

In order to ensure that our continued progress meets our overall business objectives, we may
need to reallocate available resources from time to time. Consequently you acknowledge and
accept that we may need to:
a. Vary your designation and /or your work responsibilities from time to time as may be
necessary.
b. Be transferred to a department that has a need to benefit from your qualifications or
experience.
c. Geographically relocate your work place.
d. Transfer or second your employment with us to any of our associate companies.
If we decide on any of the above, you must comply with our instructions.

17. Training

Selected employees including you may be sent for specialized training at the Company’s costs.
Since these specialized training would be occasioned by our business and operating needs, you
should not refuse such specialized training. Upon completion of the specialized training, the
employees concerned may be required to remain within our employment for a compulsory period
of not less than 12 months and a bonding agreement, otherwise you will have to make a full
reimbursement for the costs of these trainings to the Company.

18. Exclusive Service & Interest in Other Companies

You shall not, without the prior written permission of the Company, conduct your own business
undertakings or be employed in any capacity for any period by any person, Government
Department, Statutory Bodies, Firms, Company or organization other than the Company. You
may not at any time during the period of your employment by the Company without prior written
consent of your manager engage, whether directly or indirectly, paid or unpaid, in any business
or employment. It is also prohibited to have any interest in any business or organization directly
or indirectly which is in conflict with the Company’s business.

19. Confidentiality of information

It is required that all dealings and matters related to our business and operations are maintained
in strict confidence. They shall be treated as our trade secrets and you are not to disclose any
of them to any unauthorized party. All documents concerning the activities of the Company,

including those recorded on computerised systems, are the exclusive property of the Company;
they must be returned on request and in any event upon termination of the present contract. You
undertake to obey all security instructions of the Company.

20. Publications

Any publication or conference must be subject to prior authorisation of the Company insofar as
they may concern the sphere of activity or interest of the Company.

21. Inventions

You accept that all rights linked to inventions, improvements, studies, computer programmes,
etc. which you accomplish during the present contract in a field related to the branch of activity
of the Company shall revert to the Company, whatever may be the protection from which they
benefit, thus contributing to the acquisition on behalf of the Company of the necessary industrial
property rights. The usual rules of the Company and applicable legal provisions shall apply.

22. Ending your employment

Your employment may be ended at any time by the Company serving on you 3 months’ notice
in writing or 3 months’ salary in lieu thereof. Your employment may be ended at any time by you
serving on the Company 3 months’ notice in writing or 3 months’ salary in lieu thereof, unless
there is a training bond to be served or otherwise you will have to make a full reimbursement for
the costs of these trainings to the Company before ending your employment.

23. Retirement

The retirement age of all employees is 60 years.


Special month-to-month employment thereafter may be considered on a case to case basis
subject to the written approval of the company on the terms and conditions to be mutually agreed.

24. Other Matters:


a. For your information, the contents of this Offer letter are subject to any provisions of
all relevant statutory enactments affecting your employment with us currently in force
or from time to time introduced or modified.
b. Should there be any discrepancies between the contents of this Offer Letter and the
provisions of the statutory enactments, the provisions of the statutory enactment
shall prevail.
c. The benefits you are entitled to are further regulated and explained in the respective
policies issued by us from time to time. We can modify or vary the contents of our
policies at any time we deem necessary. In the event of conflict, this offer letter shall
prevail.
d. For other employment terms and conditions, you should refer to the Company
Employee Handbook at the time in force.
e. Airbus places great emphasis on Code of Ethics on all employees. Kindly refer to
Section 2 of Employee Handbook for details.

25. Further Clauses/Terms

For other clauses, please refer to Company’s Employee Handbook and Human Resource
Department, where applicable to your job grade/job role. The Company reserves the rights to
add, determine, review, or modify in part or in total the provisions of this letter of employment
and/or the terms stated in the hand book

Kindly indicate your acceptance of our letter of employment and the terms & conditions of
employment by signing and returning to the Company the duplicate of this letter within 1 week from
the date hereof.
