Executive Summary

Company
Aero-Composites group was formed in 2008 as a result of the fusion of the company’s Aero
Developments and North Composites. End of 2014 the group acquired the local company
PMC.
In 2017 the revenues of the group were 120 m€, owns three sites dedicated to develop and
manufacture composite/metallic structures for the aerospace market and provide jobs to
more than 1500 employees.
Products
Aero-Composites develop and manufacture fuselage aero structures for major civil aircraft
manufacturers.

Current Situation
As a result of delay in products development and rate increase not properly managed, the
group is facing, among financial difficulties, delivery and quality performance issues, lack of
medium-long term deliveries visibility and support to customers.
From beginning of this year Aero-Composites has been black listed to be included in new
RFQ´s.

A new consultant company has been hired to reverse the situation meeting customer
requirements, to recover the reputation and consider in new quotations.
The first action launched by the new consultant company was to hire a competent external
consultant brand to perform an operational assessment both by functions and sites alike.

The candidate is this competent external consultant nominated to meet the supplier
Composites Group.

To resolve the preceding production issues, he has to build with the supplier Aero -
Composites Group an action plan to resolve the issues identified (based on a Process Risk
Analysis).
