A. Course Objectives
This is an elementary course for the students of business administration. The focus of
attention will be given to learning fundamental principles of management and of
managing people and organization in a historical as well as contemporary world.
 To provide an essential understanding of the basic theories relevant to
management organizations and the management organizations to business
students.
 To provide guidelines on principles of management that are applicable to all
types of enterprises; basic management philosophy and decision making;
principles involved in planning, organizing, leading, and controlling; and recent
concepts in management.

B. Learning Outcomes
After studying this course, students will be able to specify how the managerial tasks of
planning, organizing, and controlling can be executed in a variety of circumstances.
They will be able assess global situation, including opportunities and threats that will
impact management of an organization.
The course will help them to integrate management principles into management practices.
They will be able to determine the most effective action to take in specific situations.
The students will be able to evaluate approaches to addressing issues of diversity.
