Summarizing Exercise

Passage 1 Summary:

Sherlock Holmes showed no regard to difference in class in his stories. There are numerous

stories where Holmes treats people of different positions of society like the upper class and lower

class the same. Holmes expected everyone to follow the same moral code regardless of society.

Passage 3 Summary:

In any type of organ transplant everyone benefits excepts the donor giving up his organ.

Surgeons get paid and the patient gets the organ, but the donor receives nothing but the feeling of

being generous. If organ donors were paid for their sacrifice, they would be more motivation to

become a donor.
