exercise RIMPAC begins

Centralized Pay System For
Indian Coast Guard
Defense Accounts (CGDA) of the
Ministry of Defense has launched a
centralized pay system for the
Indian Coast Guard (ICG). This pay
system is named as PADMA. The
full form of PADMA is Pay Roll
Automation for Disbursement of
Monthly Allowances (PADMA). This
is a 'Atma-Nirbhar Bharat'
initiative and will strengthen the
concept of Digital India.
Allowances module with latest
technology - this module has been
developed under the aegis of
Defense Accounts Department. It
will be operated by the Pay
Accounts Office Coast Guard,
Noida. It will provide seamless and
timely disbursement of salaries and
