You may be aware that the purpose of National Awards to teachers is to celebrate the
unique contribution of some of the finest teachers in the country and to honor those teachers
who through their commitment and industry have not only improved the quality of school
education but also enriched the lives of their students and thereby strengthened the nation.
This event has been organized successfully by the Department of School Education &
Literacy, Ministry of Education through the years.

2. I am delighted to inform you that the web portal for online self-nomination by
teachers has been opend from 01 .06.2022 and last date for the same is 20.06.2022.

3. A banner has been prepared and attached herewith to promote the participation of the
teachers through self-nomination. You are therefore requested to issue necessary
instructions through your good offices to display the banner prominently on your official
website.

4. You are also requested to use your own social media handles to disseminate your own
media plans to encourage participation of the teachers. Let us join hands in celebrating the
brilliant efforts made by the f,rnest teachers in making the learning process joyful for our
future nation-builders.
