Child development is crucial for instructors to understand because it allows them to

devise instructional and acquiring knowledge and learning strategies. An educator may

determine the best decisions about learning objectives and recognize students who could have

learning difficulties by knowing child development. So, the objective of this presentation is to

design and present an educational program for the age ranges of Infants and Toddlers (that is

the First 2 Years) and the children and students in their Early Childhood (that is Ages 2 to 6).

Teachers can use the Teaching Strategies realistic evaluation techniques to capture

observations, ensure that all children are hitting age-appropriate benchmarks, and introduce

new educational activities. Teachers should assist each toddler toward a more planned and

ordered schedule as the infant grows older, to ensure predictable mealtime and sleep

intervals.

Children's emotional and social development refers to how they discover themselves,

their emotions, and what to expect when they interact with one another. It's the journey of

learning how to: Establish and sustain healthy connections. Social development is a

continuous process by which a child learns to interact with one another. Typically,

socialization refers to how a youngster makes friends and many other associations, as well as

how they tackle interpersonal conflict.

It's crucial to address how children develop, educate, and develop. Acknowledging

children's development is critical since it enables us to recognize the educational, physical,

social, emotional, and cognitive development which children experience from conception to

early adulthood. Conceptual models are amongst the most crucial developmental theories;

these concepts and frameworks typically seek to characterize every area of sustainability,

sometimes utilizing a staged approach. The rest are classified as micro-theories because they

focus on a particularly important developmental process, such as cognitive or social progress.

The psychosocial development theory was propounded by Erik Erikson (Maree,2021), the

theory of cognitive development was introduced by Jean Piaget (McLeod, 2018) and Lev

Vygotsky propounded the Social Development Theory (Taber, 2020); all of which has been

illustrated.

In conclusion, the presentation discusses the key learning activities that could be

introduced, followed by the media influences and design/ layout of the environmental setting

have also been presented with an illustration.
