Automated farming is revolutionizing modern farming , but is this a boon or bane

on the society is a matter of concern. On the farm, technology is changing the way
farmers manage farmland and farm animals – such as the use of satellite driven
geo-positioning systems and sensors that detect nutrients and water in soil. It
enables the machinery to take decisions like when to plant, how much water is
required in irrigation and when to fertilize.With the advancement of this
technology, equipment are able to make tailor decisions on a meter by meter basis. 

Advancement are going in the field of crops too i,e crops are studied to make their
strain which could make its own ammonium fertilizer from nitrogen in the soil,
something which could save farmers the cost of artificial fertilizers. The genome
advancement technology and advanced farming techniques can make us enable the
food security issue rising these days and would also help in catering the need of
rising population which is estimated to be 10 million by 2050.
