C. 1. Economics is a social science concerned with the production, distribution, and consumption
of goods and services. It studies how individuals, businesses, governments, and nations make
choices about how to allocate resources.
2. Money is a commodity accepted by general consent as a medium of economic exchange. It is
the medium in which prices and values are expressed. It circulates from person to person and
country to country, facilitating trade, and it is the principal measure of wealth.

an adjective or to construct verb tenses. Participles themselves are considered to be a different
part of speech than verbs, but they look a lot like the verbs they come from. For example, the
verb walk can be turned into the participles walked and walking
