VIII. Rationale

Computers will be helpful in educational institutions and making it less boring for active
engagement. The utilization of computer resources within schools will impact additionally
in technological advancements and in methodology of teaching and learning.
At present the computer technology had witnessed advancements in all facets of
human managerial responsibilities as it incorporates all aspect of media for its interactive
engagement.
Today, computer development is leading in innovation as it is rapidly creating
headways in education through innovations looking at the increase in availability of
modern computing device like Mobile phones and Personal Digital Assistance all with the
capabilities to impact positively towards knowledge transfer.
Changes in science and technology had brought into lime light the key aspects of
computer in the scope of information management in other words referred to as
Information Technology (IT). There is no point denying the way that computers absolutely
controlled the life of a typical student either graduate or undergraduate.
It is for this reason that the proponents make way for this seminar-workshop to
capicate the teachers in the applications or uses of computers and its significance to
teaching and learning in the educational perspective.

Hence, the E-module and video assisted lessons are essential in ESP teaching
and learning process for the 21st century learners to perform better in the
classroom.These instructional materials can be utilized in any five major pedagogical
approaches Indeed, the training for teachers in

XIV. Terms of Reference of Program Management Team

Planning Committee – Spearhead the conduct of the activity through


planning the training content and methodology with objectives anchored on the
Division Memorandum, monitoring the program implementation of different
activities, and provide guidance and directions to work teams in the performance
of the assigned tasks to ensure program of works are accomplished as planned.
Registration Committee– Manage the attendance of the participants by
monitoring the number of attendees throughout the conduct of the activity; provide
and submit the list of participants to the Certificate and Documentation Committee
for appropriate recognition, proper documentation and standard auditing protocol.
Documentation Committee – Prepare the necessary documentation and
reports through summarizing and maintaining records and pertinent papers and
taking photos and/or video footages of activities.
Certificates Committee – Provide certificates to speakers, members of the
working committee and participants transcribed in the roster of names submitted
by the Registration Committee.

Accommodations Committee – Prepare the venue and set up chairs and


tables and set up the stage preparation and other needs in the implementation of
the program.
Program Committee – Ensure that all tasks and processes are carried and
leads the preparation of the program Completion Report. Also, provide the
invitation to the participants.
Technical Committee – Ensures the quality, adequacy and availability of
facilities, equipment, supplies and resources to support the success
implementation of the program.
