Technical requirements:
Tighten (strength is 10.9) the fastening bolt of camshaft thrust plate with a torque of 29-
35N.m.

2、Assembling of crankshaft and crankcase
Technical requirements:
1)Tighten main bearing bolts (M18,14 in total) cross-
symmetrically according to the order shown below.
Pre-tighten with 80N·m for the first time and
265~290N·m for the second time.
2) Tighten intermediate hexagon socket head cap screw (M8×25,22 in total). First tighten the
middle part and then both sides. The tightening torque is 22-29N·m;
3)Loosen and then tighten the intermediate hexagon head bolt (M8×110,5 in total). First tighten the
middle part and then both sides. The tightening torque is 22-29N·m;
4)The bolt with thread hole in the head should be installed in the sixth main bearing.
Tools:510 surface glue, lithium grease, towel, oil pot, 22 # socket and torque wrench

Technical requirements:
The tightening torque of two bolts(one is M10×55 ,one is M10×30)is 44~58N·m。

7、Assembling of cylinder head and valve
mechanism
1.Pre-assembling of cylinder head
Technical requirements:
① Smear MoS2 grease on intake and exhaust valves;
② Clearance between exhaust valve stem and valve guide is 0.025-0.053, clearance between
intake valve stem and valve guide is 0.02-0.048;
③ The plane valve of valve bottom recessed cylinder head exhaust/intake 1.08-1.48/0.85-1.05;
④ Notice that rotating direction of inner valve spring and outer valve spring should be opposite.
Tools:22mm fork wrench, special tools for disassembling and assembling cylinder head.
Technical requirements
The clearance between tappet and tappet hole should be 0.025~
0.089

3.Assembling of cylinder head
Technical requirements
①The cylinder head gasket should only be used once and must be replaced in case of
repair.
②Tightening order of main bolts: The first tightening torque is 29+20Nm,the second is
198 Nm,and turn 90°clockwise in the third time, the torque should be in the range of
240-340Nm;
③Tightening order of assistant bolts: : The first tightening torque is 29+20Nm,the second
is 98 Nm,and turn 90°clockwise in the third time, the torque should be in the range of
120-160Nm;
Tools: Torque wrench, 17#, 22# socket, copper hammer and extension rod
Inspection before assembling
①Check if the inside of cylinder has sundries before assembling, wipe inner cylinder wall and
top of piston clean, and spray appropriate cleaning lubricating oil on inner cylinder wall;
②Check if components assembled correctly, include to check if valve sealing sleeve and valve
collets are on seat
③Need to knock the components of cylinder head to remove sundries by nylon rod on
workbench before assembling, and then wipe clean the bottom of cylinder head components
Inspection after assembling:
Check if the main and assistant bolts of cylinder head reach the required torque

8、Assemble the rocket arm seat to

① The clearance between rocket arm and rocket arm shaft is 0.012~0.066mm;
② Tightening torque of rocket arm seat is 98+10N·m;
③ Tightening torque of hexagon head bolt in cylinder head cover is (22~29)N·m
④ Adjustment of valve clearance: Turn the flywheel to make the No.1 cylinder in outbreak
position according to rotating directing of crankshaft, adjust intake valves of No.1, No.2
and No.4 cylinder and exhaust valves of No.1, No.3 and No.5 cylinder successively.
WD615.WD10Intake valve clearance is 0.30±0.03mm. Exhaust valve clearance is
0.40±0.03mm.WD12Intake valve clearance is 0.35mm. Exhaust valve clearance is
0.40mm. EVB valve clearance is 0.25±0.03mm. Adjust nut torque:(30~45)N·m,
turn crankshaft 360°according to rotating direction of crankshaft, and adjust the
remaining rocket arm clearance;

8、装摇臂座调整气门间隙 8、Assemble the

1、Remove cylinder head cover of No.1 cylinder. Check if the piston of No.1 cylinder is near top
dead center by rotating the push rod and turn the crankshaft if not.
2、Turn crankshaft counterclockwise (check from flywheel end) by special tool to make the fuel
supply advanced angle scale according to technical requirements in flywheel should align
with “OT” scale line in flywheel housing. (Note: Allow to turn flywheel clockwise first to make
the “OT” scale line in flywheel housing reaches more than two times of scale line of fuel
supply advanced angle, and then turn crankshaft counterclockwise.)
3、Flange mechanical pump models: Loosen the fastening bolt of high pressure oil pump and
flange; Coupling models: Loosen the bolts of angle adjusting plate.
4、Seal the oil-return port of fuel injection pump; remove hollow bolt in oil-inlet port of fuel
injection pump, connect oil-inlet port with special fuel supply pipe, and tighten connector; use
special oil-return pipe to connect oil-inlet port of fuel injection pump No.1 cylinder, and
tighten connecting bolt. The special oil return pipe consist of oil-resistant transparent rubber
hose and connecting elbow, among which, the total length of connecting elbow is less than
150mm.
10、Adjustment of fuel supply advanced
angle
5、Start fuel supply advanced angle adjustment device, turn flange mechanical fuel
injection pump clockwise(seen from free end) or turn coupling mechanical fuel
injection pump flange counterclockwise (see from free end), make the diesel oil flow
out from oil outlet port of oil pump linearly. The fuel injection pump with delivery
valve, fuel supply pressure of fuel supply advanced angle adjustment device is
2MPa approximately; fuel injection pump without delivery valve, fuel supply pressure
of fuel supply advanced angle adjustment device is 0.5MPa approximately
6、Turn pump body of flange-structured fuel injection pump counterclockwise (seen
from free end) or turn coupling-structured fuel injection pump flange clockwise (seen
from free end) to make the high pressure oil from linear change to drop, use
stopwatch to detect after dropping 10s continuously. Visual drip count, 1 drop / sec
in average, the flow rate unchanged and last 10s.
7、Flange-structured fuel injection pump: Tighten fastening bolt between flange fuel
injection pump bracket and fuel injection pump seat first according to technical
requirements, and then tighten fastening bolt between fuel injection pump and
flange; Coupling-structured fuel injection pump: Tighten fastening bolt of angle
adjusting plate according to technical requirement, and smear sealant on fastening
bolt. The operator should check visually if the high pressure diesel oil is 1 drop/sec
after tightening bolts.

12、Assembling of water outlet pipe,
intake and exhaust pipes
Technical requirements: Inspection before assembling:
Smear MoS2 on the sealing ring of exhaust Check if the gasket is intact; check the

13、Assembling of oil pan
Technical requirements:The sealing gasket should be smooth and not distorted. Cross-
symmetrically tighten the oil pan bolts and the torque is 22-29N·m;
Tools:13mm socket and 32 open-end wrench
Inspection before assembling: Check if the suction strainer and oil pan are interferential.
Inspection after assembling: Check if magnetic screw plug is tightened.
14、Assembling of water pump
Technical requirements: Inspection before assembling:
1、Clean the water pump and gear chamber surface Check if water pump impeller is rotating flexibly.

15、Assembling of air compressor
Technical requirements of air compressor
Tools:13# socket and crank
assembling:
1. The connecting face of air compressor and gear chamber has Inspection after assembling:

2. Connect water inlet pipe and water return pipe of air
compressor respectively.

16、Assembling of shock absorber and
pulley
Technical requirements:The torque of crankshaft connecting bolt and pulley is
60+10N·m;
Inspection before assembling: Check if the shock absorber and pulley are intact.
Tools: 16#socket and torque wrench
Inspection after assembling: Check if the torque reaches the requirement.
