KABIR SCHOOL
Dear Students,
You all like coming to school, enjoy reading / learning and all other school activities but
when it comes to examination, everyone gets jitter. But examinations are a part of our
education system. No matter how much we know, we will be judged by what we have
written in examinations. Hence here are some tips that will help you to prepare well for
exams.
While Studying.
1. Count the number of subjects and give a certain amount of time for each subject, giving more
time for your weaker subjects.
2. Study two –three subjects every day to avoid monotony and boredom. However, if you prefer
finishing your revision subject wise, that is entirely up to you.
3. Be target oriented, Do not do clock related study.
4. Plan and manage your time effectively.
5. Choose a comfortable position and gradually increase your capacity to continuously sit at the
place for longer period.
6. Concentrate on diagrams, maps, charts and graphs.
7. Practice speed writing without sacrificing the legibility.
8. Practice to write in exam like conditions, with the evaluation pattern in mind.
9. Active reading, underlining making notes in the margin should go on simultaneously.
10. Write the summary / concept map of each chapter. This can be your ready reference.
11. Learn from your past mistake. Do not repeat them.
12. Take good care of your health and take regular sleep. It is prerequisite to hard work.
13. Give yourself a break in between by walking about a bit, stretching, doing a light exercise and
then again getting back to your table. Little amount of normal water in between can keep you
fresh and you will be able to sit for longer times.
14. Eat your meals at regular times. Take more salads and fresh leafy vegetables.
15. Keep the cell phones, radio and T.V. set aside from your life till examinations are over. There is
time enough after the exam to watch your favorite programs.
IN THE EXAMINATION HALL
 Read the direction carefully.
 Before you begin to write any answer, organize your thoughts.
 Avoid writing very long and complex sentences.
 Do not linger too long on any one question.
 Complete every question.
 Take a time to review the answer you write.
Remember:
 You have studied the entire study material.
 You have made your notes.
 You have concentrated on your studies when others were watching T.V.
 You have put in hard work during night hours and early morning hours.
YOU CAN BE WHATEVER YOU WANT TO BE!

There is inside you

All of the potential
To be whatever you want to be;
All of the energy
To do whatever you want to do.
Imagine yourself as you would be like to be,
Doing what you want to do,
And each day, take one step
Towards your dream.
And though at times it may seem too
Difficult to continue,
Hold on to your dreams.
One morning you will awake to find
That you are the person you dreamed of,
Doing what you wanted to do,
Simply because you had courage
To believe in your potential
And to hold on to your dream.

There is no question why you would not be able to at the top.

As orison Swett has said . “ Just make up your mind at the very outset that your work is
going to standfor quality…….That you are going to stamp superior quality upon
everything that goes out of your hands . This whatever you do shall bear the hallmark of
excellence.”

With Good wishes
